Garrett's new Multi-Flex multi-frequency technology allows the user to search on all search frequencies simultaneously. However, you can also choose to work on 1 selectable search frequency, where you can choose from 5, 10, 15 or 20Khz. Low search frequencies have the advantage of searching deeper and are especially ideal for searching for larger deep objects. High search frequencies have less depth but are very accurate in detecting the smallest objects in the upper layer. Choose the search frequency that best suits your search goals or opt for the Multiflex multi-frequency technique where you search on all search frequencies from 5 to 20Khz simultaneously! The Apex then combines the advantages of all search frequencies with each other so that you will find the very small objects even deeper!
The Apex is a very good beach detector and even offers a special Multi-Flex Salt search frequency for searching the wet salt beach and highly mineralized bottoms. The Apex also works in this position according to the new Multiflex multi-frequency technology.
