Ultra-Pulse Technology
Advanced pulse timings provide increased sensitivity and absolute flexibility in the most extreme mineralized soils and in salt water. Choose from four programs, each ideal for finding all types of gold, from larger gold nuggets to smaller gold particles.
Compact and the lightest detector in its class
The Axiom can be retracted to a length of 63.5 cm, making it very compact for transport. Thanks to the click lock, you can quickly and easily set it to the correct length. The maximum length is 156 cm, so it is also suitable for tall people. The total weight is 2.1 kg, making the Axiom one of the lightest high-end gold detectors.
Terra-Scan
Axiom's advanced system provides an independent dual-channel ground balance that covers the full range of mineralization, from heavily mineralized magnetic soil to salt water, and everything in between.
Z-Lynk
The Axiom has a built-in Z-Lynk transmitter that can be used with the Garrett MS-3 wireless headphones and other devices that support Z-Lynk.
Extreme long battery life
With about 16 hours of search time on a full charge, the Axiom's built-in, powerful lithium-ion battery provides a battery life that is twice as long as that of some other gold detectors! The included Axiom Booster Pack can hold 8 AA batteries, standard or rechargeable. This allows you to search for 6 hours longer in remote areas.
2 audio types
Choose between PWM audio and VCO audio. PWM audio sounds like the tones of the Garrett ATX. With PWM audio, the volume of the object increases in relation to the signal strength, but the pitch is fixed at a high or a low tone. With VCO audio, both the volume and the pitch of the target increase proportionally with the signal strength. Most users prefer this type of audio due to the smooth response and the ability to detect small objects that cause minimal changes in pitch.
